hey all, I have a dc-1000. The status light stays red. The battery is inserted (correctly), the charge begins, and the light never turns off. I check the status of the battery (after a short overnight charge), and it appears "full."
I take it underwater, light is red. I turn the camera off, the light is red. I take the battery out, the light goes off.
It's never green. IT's never off. I suspect this is not normal. Any ideas on how to get the light off (ie what does it mean other than a charging battery)?
thanks!

Whodunit 68,

First lets try resetting the defaults on the camera. Follow the menu and reformt the camera, WITHOUT YOUR CARD IN IT!

Try this. If this does not work, contact our service department at 856-866-9191.
