Dayton OH Area dive shops

Hi all, I am posting for a friend who lives in the Dayton OH area and is looking into getting her OW cert. She would like to take classes in the Dayton Area. Any advise on shops I can pass along to her? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks

My daughter and I did my OW and AOW certifications with Tim Patton at TJsportdivers in lebanon, OH. I am very pleased with the attention and patience Tim showed during the entire process. I have no reservations recommending Tim for a new OW student. He is a diving enthusiast and a pleasure to work with. We did our OW checkouts with him in FLA and the AOW locally at Portage Quarry, both trips were a blast. We will be working on our rescue certs with him shortly. Check out TJsportdivers.com. I believe he can certify SEI, NAUI and PADI. I am pleased with the SEI training, it appears to be more thorough than PADI. I would be happy to answer any additional questions you have.

There is also:

Aquatic Realm in Centerville. They have their own pool.
Out of the Blue.
Wash. Rec Center . I think the Washington-Township rec center used to run OW certification courses as well.

Can't speak for the training quality for any of the above.

Wife and I got our cert through Aquatic Realm in Centerville. The heated pool is nice.
