On-island Testing No Longer Required for Vaccinated Travelers

The Cayman Islands Government has announced an ease of restrictions in relation to on-island testing and gatherings.

Effective Friday, February 18

  • On-island antigen / lateral flow testing is no longer required for travelers on day 2, 5 and 7 after their arrival in Cayman.
  • Public gatherings have a new maximum capacity of 500 for indoor events and 1,000 for outdoor events.
Travelers aged 5 and over are still required to take a pre-arrival test. This may include a certified rapid test/lateral flow test (LFT) or PCR test, no earlier than the day before their departure.

We know that you, and your clients, may have questions regarding these updates. We encourage you to contact your regional sales rep or visit www.exploregov.ky/coronavirus or the Visit Cayman Islands website to find the latest information. Please note that updates are currently in progress on these websites to reflect these new travel regulations.
