Years ago I bought this D-A Dive Bright 500 light for $5 at good will and have kept it as a display item amongst my dive treasures. When I was a lad, this was the light I always wanted but could never afford.
I was looking at it the other day and kicking around what it would require to make it a sea worthy LED light. I am thinking a bulb and reflector from a modern light with rechargeable battery would work.
But the first challenge is to replace the threaded plug in for the charging port in the back of the light. Does anyone know where I can either get one or, more realistically, get the specs for one? Also if anyone has any leads on where to get a new o-ring, the one that it has is probably 40 years old.
