My DAN Explorer travel insurance plan expired last month.
Same plan is $440 (versus $319) and offers less coverage for death and dismemberment ($50k vs $10k) and $1k less baggage coverage.
I haven’t read through the entire policy but I’m not sure about the value.
Anyone have another travel insurance plan to recommend?
This is separate from my DAN diving insurance.

Why do you want the separate travel insurance ontop of DAN's regular insurance? I believe when I looked at it, DAN's regular insurance covered me for everything I wanted when I travelled. I had the highest tier.

The travel insurance covers some things not included in the dive insurance.
  • Trip cancellation due to illness, accident, job loss or an act of terrorism
  • Cancelled or delayed flights
  • Lost or delayed baggage
  • Medical coverage for an Illness or (non-diving) accident that occurs when traveling
  • ID theft

I looked at DAN Annual, and for my age/state it is LESS costly than it was before. I have not looked at individual benefits.
