Damoni, Crete, Greece

Can anyone tell me what the diving around Damnoni or Phinikas on the island of Crete is like?

I am considering staying at a resort in Damnoni that lists scuba diving on site at the resort. It's called Hapimag Damnoni and it must be fairly new. I looked on Google maps and there are no resorts near that town with a freeform pool like the in the photos on the resort's web site.

Mudd if your that far from home you must be there a while, there are lot of dives on Island, cavern and caves are awesome. go to a few destinations, even if resort is booked, to stay in another town a night is cheap at small hotels on the water, or across the street on water.
