Well,
I haven't made so many dives yet but my best were

Island of Vis
Wall on the northern side of Hvar

From what I know
There are a lot more great places: In Istria-Rovinj (Wreck SS Baron Gautch),then Island of Krk, Korcula,...
Lots of caves and wrecks

i think i know where is those locations., i have been born on the one of those south islands.

I think the most beautifull is island of Vis but I didn't dive there..( like to go there to B17, but it is on cca 70m deep). I dive in Kostrena and island of Krk (wreck Peltastis). It's good for beaginers and expiriens divers , the depth is from 15-30.

I still vote for Ist - maybe because it's a small island and very quiet. But it has a diving centre!!!!

PS. As we have stated it several time Croatia is great, diving is really good but it's becoming too expensive...
