That's a beautiful site and is on my list. People who try doing that dive on 1 tank OC are nuts.

We are going for the third time in late July. on our trips, we typically do one week on a liveaboard and then the second week diving Dahab and the Blue Hole Arch.

The arch is actually a very easy dive with the proper training, experience, and equipment. If you want to swim it both ways, you have to time the tide.

People still die every year. Last year two experienced people died doing technical dives.

The most dangerous part of the dive is walking down to the water when the tour busses are in. The snorkelers leave their flip flops on the path to the water.

Since covid, they have added some steps that make it less dangerous.
