Dahab, 7-13 june

Hi all,

I will be in Dahab (Egypt) from 7th june to 14th june, on my own, mostly to scubadive.
What dive center would you recommend ? (I've already tested the Nesima dive center, which was very good, but I' m curious to change). I'd like it the most international possible (I don't need a french divemaster...), so diving is also a way to meet people from everywhere.

By the way, if any travellers wants to join for a drink or a diner, just let me know

Blue Realm will be fine. Its a small centre attached to a fairly small hotel (Blue Beach). Khalid runs the place well. Not sure what you mean by "international" though. Its a small centre with 2 or 3 Egyptian staff.
Also worth nothing the beach bar there is one of the best in town and the restaurant does serve the best steaks in town!

I'll be there from 18th Aug for 2 weeks doing OW/AOW at Blue Realm. I'm staying in the dive centre apartment rather than the hotel, as it worked out as a cheaper deal. (being the student i am) lol

As a first timer to Egypt and diving too. Any tips and advice for me? Should i have breakfast and lunch breaks at the hotel do you think, or just buy food at supermarket and make something up in the apartment to take out? how much cash would one need each day for meals and a couple of beers in the evenings? is there much to do at night around Dahab for the single traveller? :O)
