I have a Dacor Rig2 BC and have a quick question about it's use.
When the BC came it came with a number of velcro straps that squeeze the wings. At first I thought it was something mandatory to dive with. I installed them all. And on my first dive found out that using them made the wings hold air unevenly and made bouyancy next to imposible. So I took them off. Ever since Bouyancy has been easier but not a snap.
I've recently seen some pictures of OMS BC's with the straps on and now I'm wondering what gives. I have now seen several backplate BC's with them attached.
here's a pic of what I mean. It's the orange oms bc on the bottom of the page.
