I went last february diving in the Grand Cayman, in Georgetown. That was great. I am planning for my next vacation and inspecting my gears when I remenbered that during my last dive, which was my first with this used Dacor Pacer XLS second stage I had bought, there was water entering in the second stage, and it was difficult to breath, I really had to pull. I suspect that the second stage need to be adjusted. would anyone have a manual for this model?

If it was difficult to breath from (took a lot of effort) and there was a lot of water in it, you have more issues than a simple adjustment. Defective exhaust valves or a tear in the main diaphram are more likely culprits. There are some Dacor manuals on www.frogkick.dk - /

Welcome to the board.

Thanks. No the diaphram is intact. There was only little water in. I quickly look at the hyperlink. The second stages described are not exactly for the XLS model, as those illustrated are more complex. But I will look at it more closely. It does explain some and provide for possible solution. Thanks.

The best feature of the Pacer is that it is the easiest 2nd stage to tune (set cracking pressure).
Just loosen lock nut and turn.....no inline tool needed and no 1/16th turn....attach hose....test....another 1/16th turn..............
