Dacor Pacer 950XL 1st and 2nd stage service...

I have a Dacor Pacer 950XL 1st and 2nd stage set-up with a 950 second stage octopus. I am the original owner and I purchased this back in the early to mid 80’s. They actually seem to work well but I would like to have them overhauled and serviced. I understand Dacor does not support this product and is from what I heard out of business. Does anyone know of a qualified service technician (name, email, phone number) that can provide all replacement parts as needed and readjust both stages?
Thanks!

Good luck, I hope you can find what you need. I also used a Dacor Pacer in the '80s. If I still had it I would help you out. It was a dependable workhorse, and I thought the company was great! I still have a Dacor C3-N (although I no longer dive). Hope you find the parts you need!

Bruce,

The Dacor Pacer is a great regulator, and you can probably maintain the second stage yourself. Simply take it apart, and it is not hard to maintain. The early Pacer regulators had a recall on the second stage for a purge button problem (corrosion caused them to break, and lodge on the diaphragm). But this happened before the Pacer 950, as I recall. I probably have some parts diagrams of the Pacer, and my LDS has an old Dacor repair manual too. Dacor was known for the robustness of its regulators, and I have Dacor Olympic regulators still functioning well after all these years. My Pacer XL is still in use. Here's a rather long (45 minute) video of a dive I made this spring using the Dacor Nautilus Constant Volume System and my Pacer regulator.
