My friend has a Dacor Darwin that he is trying to switch from air to nitrox but can not figure out how to change it over.

Can anyone provide a step by step on how to make the switch or a quick summary?

Thanks in advance

Hi!

Access SET mode (use the <mode> button from DIVE or SURF mode or by pressing <-> from CLOCK.)
Press the <MODE> button for 2 secs to access the 6 groups (set1 through set6)
You want SET1 which is setting up your AIR or NITROX parameters.
(To scroll through the any of the different SETs, hit the <mode> button)

To enter into a specific set for functions. (ie, SET1 for NITROX or AIR) hold the <mode> for 2 seconds.So...you have entered SET1 by pressing <mode> for the 2 secs and you will see your current parameters displayed. To change from AIR to NITROX, press the <-> button to change.
Once you have changed to NITROX (or back to AIR), pressing the <MODE> button will advance to the next setup for %O2 and then of the max PPO.

Remember to change the % if you change mixes.

*There is a warning in the manual that if you plan a repetitive dive with Nitrox for #1 and air for the next, to leave it in NITROX and change the % to 21 so that it can still track your CNSO2. It will not do so if you change the computer to AIR.

Hope that helps!
