D4i in gauge mode

Hi All,
I've searched the forum and the manual but still couldn't figure out the answer... I'm diving with the D4i with a transmitter and am planning to upgrade my computer. The new one doesn't have the air transmitter so I'm hoping to use the D4i as a gauge and to log the air consumption. So the questions are:
1. How do I get the D4 in gauge mode;
2. Will it log the dives in gauge mode?
3. Will the transmitter work in gauge mode?

If not - any recommendations on workarounds?

I don't believe the D4i has Gauge mode. Air / Nitrox / Free
