I bought a new D4i in November of 2013. I first dove with it in December of 2013
The battery died in October of 2015 after 119 dives and less than two years of use.
I had the battery replaced by Dive Supply, the authorized Suunto service center here in Thailand. The cost was about US$75.00
The second battery died in January of 2017 after only 40 dives and 14 months of use.
That means it cost me almost two US dollars per dive for the battery.
That seems excessive.
Is this poor battery life normal or is there something I'm doing wrong?
