I'm thinking (seriously) of getting an Ikelite housing for my D100. Anybody have port/lens recommendations (28-105mm D macro?).
I have a Sigma 15-30 and Nikon 28-200 D and I don't think either of these lenses will work with Ikelite ports. Anyway the 28-200 sucks for macro.

Does the Ikelite sync port come with Nikon contacts - or do I need an adapter for Niknon strobes?

Also I've got a YS-50 and a SB-101. I was thinking that the SB-101 would be a good master as it's more powerful and I have an external sensor on it that works pretty well -- just set the f stop and shoot. I can set up the YS-50 as a slave. Good idea?

Any other suggestions?

TIA!

You can check Ikelite website for all the lenses it supports here: http://www.ikelite.com/web_pages/2port_nikon.html

For macro underwater, most people use etiher the 60mm or 105mm macro lenses or the 70-180mm (Ikelite unfortunately does not support this lens).

You will need to get Ikelite to Nikonos sync cord for your SB 101 strobe (Ikelite sells this).
