Dive Engineer
Location: Quantico, VA
Summary:
Strategic Analysis is seeking a well-rounded individual to satisfy a requirement for a Dive Engineer position to support the Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Virginia. It is of paramount importance to exceed our client expectations with high integrity and focused attention to milestones and detail.
In addition to working well in a team environment the successful candidate will incorporate the following:
An understanding of combatant diving operations.
An understanding of underwater navigation systems as they relate to combatant diving.
An understanding of heads up displays and communications technologies as they relate to combatant diving.
Detailed knowledge of at least two of the following:
 Underwater acoustics/sonar
 Hydrographic data collection and map creation
 Hydrodynamics relating to drag and propulsion
 Packaging of electronics for use underwater
 Ergonomics of electronic/mechanical devices underwater
Application of the principles of systems engineering in support of development, test, and production of systems, subsystems and components used in combatant diving operations.
Application of technical expertise to support the development, test and production of the Combatant Diver Display Mask, Enhanced Underwater Breathing Apparatus, Tactical Hydrographic Survey Equipment, Diver Propulsion Device, and Tactical Underwater Locator Beacon.
Must possess the following minimum qualifications:
 Demonstrated ocean/dive engineering experience
 DoD Clearance Eligibility
 Bachelors Degree & 6 years related experience
 Outstanding Written and Oral Communication Skills
