Hey...

I`m doing a round trip through South east asia and I`m planing to do my advanced diver in the perhentian islands......but i met some travellers who told me that at the moment there is a monsun over there and a huge amount of jellyfish..

has anybody been there just a few days ago and can tell me about the condotions?

or

does anybody know a resort which i can contact and which is honest about the current conditions in the perhentian islands...????

thanks..

cheers sascha

It is not monsoon yet.
Monsoon for the east coast of west Malaysia is from Oct to March.
Not too sure about the jellyfish season though.

thanks for the information....

is there somebody who is currently on the perhentian islands or has just came back from there?

would be really nice to read an inside look..

greets sascha

I was in Perhentians two weeks ago. No jellyfish and no monsoon. Diving was as good as it gets there.

Hope not to break any forum rules, but Turtle Bay Divers are really good for courses.
For normal dives I would prefer Steffen Sea Sports, they have more local DM's that know the dive sites really good.

thanks for the info...

now i can really look forward to this divespot..... :)

cheers sascha
