Flying in Jan 20 thru 27th and have been looking at the extended forecast, and looks like its supposed to rain everyday. Are boats leaving the harbour? any real amounts of rain or is weather network just making me paranoid? TIA

Rain is not the issue, it is the winds which cause small craft advisories. We have had an unusually high number of these days this month causing us to lose 6 days of diving so far this month - triple the average. When Canada and the US are having bad winters, you can expect that to trickle down. But rain doesn't cancel dives unless it's a dangerous storm.

Wind forecast for next week looks good! Don't even pay attention to the rain predictions - we are in the tropics, it's likely to rain at some point somewhere on the island for a brief period of time - usually a brief afternoon shower.
