Temperature at the bottom doesn't change all that much. usually around 41 degrees sometimes a little higher. Top side is toasty warm but the second thermocline has not developed yet. That happens around mid-late August. Being spring fed and deep, its a cold quarry.
 
Pack your ear drops as well. All three divers in our group developed severe swimmer's ear (one went deaf for 24 hours) after diving Gilboa.
