Been awhile, but went out with GoWest 3 years ago. They had a “follow the DM” policy which worked well for us, as one of the group was a new diver. If you use them for boat diving, or if you’re just up there way looking for a shore dive, make sure you do a dive off of their dock. Alice in Wonderland is the name of the reef and it was definitely worth it.

thank you so much! Thinking about splitting our time between Lions Dive/Ocean Encounters and Go West (looking at staying at Marazul in a townhouse). Any thoughts on that?
Actually, we stayed at Marazul when we were there. Great location. You can also do some good diving/snorkeling off of the stairs there. We did a really nice night dive off of the eastern stairs. Also, quick drive to GoWest for diving.

If you’re staying at Marazul you might try Sublime Diving for shore diving tanks. It’s right next door.

gowest is a good op. Great house reef and set up for shore diving. A boat dive to watamula a great dive.
We have done a couple trips where we spent the first part of our trip out in west punt diving and the second at lions dive relaxing

thank you! Actually we are starting at Lions Dive for diving then going to West punt for more diving- lol. Where did you stay in West punt? We are renting in Marazul and hope it is a good choice!
I have stayed at Allwest Apartments and Nos Krusero. Adivingbel and damselfish I think have stayed at marazul and can better advise as to that location. From all I have read it sounds like a very good choice.
