Tim Ingersoll:
On a scale of one to ten how would rate the diving? Lets call Cozumel an 8.50 and Jamaica a 2.0. Bahamas are a 5.0.

We have been to Coz a few times, Bonaire once and Curacao a few times. We would return to all at a drop of a few dimes. We have only seen the western side of Curacao underwater. It is wonderful and compares and in some aspects is better than Bonaire. True on Bonaire you can fall in the water and dive most anywhere. On Curacao, you can do the same, it is just not as easy to drive along the only road and see the sites as on Bonaire. There are great drive/dive maps available at most dive shops there that will help you find your way to the fall in the water and dive sites on Curacao. We always stay at Allwest in Westpunt, small operation where you get a discount if you stay/dive/rent a vehicle with them. You cannot beat their prices. You are out on the west end, dive you heart out, we do. Town, groceries, beer all are a 45 minute drive away. There are a few small places to eat out on the west end, but we prefer traveling to town for good dinners. We usually do breakfast/lunch on our deck overlooking the bay of fishing boats between dives.
