Wife and I decided to chuck Bike Week this year and go to Curacao diving. We havent been there before, but we will be back. We stayed at All West Apartments and it was great. Located on a cliff overlooking a beautiful beach. Lockable dive facility on site (not manned) and steps down to the beach. Sea turtles are abundant, attracted to the adjacent pier where the local fishermen are cleaning fish and the turtles take advantage. Go West Diving leaves from their dock about a half mile from the apartments (apartment comes with a Nissan diesel pickup) and Go West is a first-class outfit. The best experience I have had with boat diving. Food can be a bit complicated. Friday, Sat, Sun evenings are no problem, take your choice, but other nites there are just a few choices, although the choice are good. I highly recommend the Sol Food restaurant, about halfway between the apartments and Go West. The rib-eye for $20 is about as good as I have had anywhere at any price. Their pizza is to die for. Cold beer, good food on the cliff overlooking the sun setting on the ocean...as good as it gets.
