Due to another thread, I got the idea to put a crotch strap (ala BP/W) on my Aeris EX100 to help keep it in position. I dived the modified rig today and was very pleased with the result. The crotch strap kept the BC from riding up, even when inflated on the surface, and eliminated the "armpit hang" common to the jacket BC. The BC stayed put no matter what position I was in and the shoulder straps stayed snug against my shoulders in all conditions.
My BC has convenient slots in the hard backpack that allowed the installation. I don't know about other makes or models.
