I was in Croatia in MAy this year. We drove down from Brno, and spent 4 days in Rovinj. The weather was so bad we only were able to do 3 dives in 4 days. Rain, wind, and too rough for the boats to go out.

We did dive the Baron Gautsch though. It was great even though visibility was only around 5 meters. Love to get back again. Is your center offering any fall diving deals? Maybe I could get down there in November.

I go to Croatia once a year. I always stay at Ist island and dive there. It's lovely (Catedrale is my favourite dive) but - as we mentioned here couple of times - it's a bit too expensive....

TheDivingPreacher what do you mean by fall diving deals? The center is directly connected with the sea about 15 meters longitudinally. you should check the web site.
http://www.kpa-kostrena.hr (english version) or chose http://www.kpa-kostrena.hr/main.htm it's on croatian but with lots of pictures. it has prices for all kind of diving (night, boat trip....). And I don't think it's too expensive..

I was asking about special low prices for rooms and diving at this time of year.
Thanks for the link to the web site.

What is so great about diving in front of the center?

I surfed the Website and missed the big picture.

Is there a particular landscape/landmark at this location that I should be interested in diving?

I'm planning a trip for June/July 05', I have not decided where to go, excuse my illiterate questions/curiosities.

A couple of my buddies are looking into a trip to Croatia (I dont even know if I spelt it correctly). I was wondering if anyone knew how the diving was over there. I would also love to hear any stories that may come with your replies.
