hi all
Couldnt find a forum specifically for critters etc, so im posting here. Move if necessary!
ive been trying to find a marine life database (online or software) that allows you to tally a list of organisms seen on a paticular dive by clicking on its picture in the database. The program then generates a list of the common and scientific names of the animals seen, making it possible to copy/paste that into the comments box in a dive-log software like SDM.
Ive seen one used by birdwatchers (which was pretty basic, but useful, although it was 4-5 years ago), but cant find one for divers.
alternatively, any of the software whizzes out there hazard a guess at how hard it would be to compile something like that in a program like ms access?
cheers
Neil
