How would you all rate Cressi. I have a Cressi mask and love it, I find the quality really high and I trust it.

The real question is, I may be getting a Cressi reg and would love to hear your opinions on the make and any experiences if possible. I understand if you don't like them, but could your opinions be backed up with evidence or experiences as why not. Like, I had one and it went tits up on me for no reason etc.

Thanks a bunch.

My wife has the Titanium 1st and 2nd stage and octo and she really rates it.

cressi makes some of the best dive gear around and have been doing so since last 6 decades ! you wont find too many dive gear manufacs with such a history.
I have a cressi regulator bought second hand in 1987 and still working without problem. not that it received annual overhauls, only gave it the best possible freshwater rinse after each use.

This may not be an issue in your area, but one of the main problems we had with cressi is that there are not a lot of cressi dealers, and getting service and parts was a hit and miss proposition. We carried them for a while, but had some slow turn around times on some warranty recalls so we phased out the line in favor of some other brands that seemed to be better in the customer support department.

I love my Big Eyes mask and they make great fins. But I can't get any parts for the mask. the little strap cam/clamps break and then the mask becomes useless. Anyone know where I can get some?

Well, I looked at the Cressi and it was a rather aged one. I don't know where the dealer got 2 years from. He had also jacked the price up saying that it had been serviced that morning. I left and went to the store where I was picking up my BC. There I found a gorgeous APEX with Octo and Tusa instaments. I decided on that one instead. It is a really nice reg and has no problems at all. Now just to baptise it!

I had a cressi ellipse setup.. hated it.
