I'm looking for a new reg since I need a reg for my pony bottle
and I thought I'd move my old one over. I've been using a low
end Mares Axis and I think it's time to move up to something
that'll perform better on deeper cold water diving. I was looking
at a few today, and I wondered if people have any experiences
they'd like to share.

I was looking at the Aqualung Legend, Apeks ATX200, Apeks
TX-50, and Cressi Airplus. My list of course isn't limited to those,
it's just what I found in my searching today. If people have other
suggestions I would be happy to hear them. I know a search
of the posts show some discussions on the Apeks regulators, but
I've not read all those yet [I will], but I couldn't find anything on
the Cressi [which is what the shop I'd like to give my business to
stocks, well Cressi and Scubapro, but I didn't see any scubapro
that seemed to be what I was looking for].

I have two Legends on order, so hopefully I'll have glowing reports on those soon.

I have had an Apeks TX100 for a few years now and absolutely love it. Breathes easy at all depths and has nevel let me down.

I like it so much that i have jst purchased a second one to use with my manifolded twins.

Not sure if the TX100 is still available, i think the ATX200 has replaces it but that one is basically the same first stage with a repackaged second.
