Creating HDR underwater videos from HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) footage is straightforward using Final Cut Pro 11.1. If your footage has ideal exposure and white balance, you'll likely only need to add some sharpness. However, if the exposure or white balance isn't perfect, minor adjustments can significantly improve the final result, as demonstrated in this video. Typically, these adjustments take about one minute to make. Video file for upload was exported via Apple's Compressor.

Filmed in Anilao, the Philippines, in April 2025, while staying in Buceo Anilao Beach and Dive Resort.
