Does anyone know what the recommended cracking pressure is for the Apeks XL4 second stages?

1.4-1.6" on the XL4. I think this has more to do to make them cold water resistant more than anything. You should be able to tune it to 1.0 no issues whatsoever.
In my opinion Apeks specs all their regulators for a breathing resistance that's a tad too high.
