Does anyone know how strong the winds have to be in Cozumel before diving is shut down? We are concerned about an El Norte blowing through. Thanks.

Dont worry about things you can not control. I have made more than 10 trips to Coz and have never been kept from diving due to weather. If it happens it happens.

Strong cold front is blowing through here (Texas) this morning. Christi I guess you will be feeling the effects of it in a couple of days. Brrrr it's cold for here. It was 80 degrees yesterday and we were in shorts. Texas gotta love it :D

Thanks for the heads up! I personally like the cooling off here when a norte blows through, but I hate what it means for the people who are here to dive...and of course the loss of income as well...but it's something we all have to be prepared for this time of year.

I hope it's cold the week between Christmas and New Year's! I just booked a last minute quickie trip home for a few days because the fare dropped to under $500 (was above $1000). This will be the first time in 4 years I get to be with my family around the holidays..my Mom is sooooo happy because all three daughters will be home at the same time! I live here, one sister in Austin, and the other now in Los Angeles.

Sorry for hijacking the thread...I'm just very excited!!!
