Cozumel to Isla Mujeres?

Hello,

Is there ferry service from Cozumel directly to Isla Mujeres or do I have to go to PDC then cancun and over to Isla Mujeres?

No, no ferry service from Cozumel directly to Isla Mujeres or Cancun. Must go to PDC, then Cancun and finally ferry over to Isla Mujeres. Can do the whole thing in an easy 3 hours.

From Punta Sam

ferry runs 0800-1045-1400-1530-1730

From Isla Mujeres

0730-0945-1315-1500-1700

You can also go to Puerto Juarez and catch a passenger boat as well and they leave all through the day...Its a little more expensive but convienient.

what they said, and easy three hours, make sure you go through Puerto Juarez as the ferries are cheaper than the water taxis etc in the Cancun Hotel Zone.

That's a long trip. Isla Mujeres is fun, though. Go on a Golf Cart tour!

I have some friends that will be in Isla Mujeres, while I'll be in Cozumel, and think the trip will cut too much into my divng time. Thanks for the advise, think I will just stick to Cozumel and not worry about the hussle and bussle of the extra travel.
