Just returned from 3 weeks of diving. There has been a lot of loss of brain coral and last year saw a lot of bleaching.. Both my dive partner agree that this year we were not seeing a lot of bleaching because the coral is already dead and covered with algae. On the other hand branch coral was doing great. Have to agree the loss of large fish like grouper. Was told by a local that during the pandemic locals were poaching in order to feed their families.

And supply restaurants, feed their families is like in the USA 'they looted Nike because they needed shoes'
