Hi,

Well, after much consideration we are going to stay at the Occidental Grand instead of the Palace. I'm just afraid it won't be done and running smoothly when we go (april 30 - May 7).

However, for those of you who were wondering about prices...

Cozumel Palace: 7 nights all inclusive at the end of April: 955.00 per person

Occidental Grand: 7 nights all inclusive: 833.00 per person

There might be better prices to be found...

Good choice going with the Occidental Grand. We saw the Cozumel Palace last week, here are some pictures.

Thanks to everyone for your help!!! I like Matt's reasoning, but my wife may trump me for the large beaches in the south...

If that's what we do, based on Christi's recommendations I would choose Allegro based on price unless people feel the extra $50pp per night is worth the upgrade to the Grand.

Didn't the Allegro have some sewer and bug problems last year?
There were some baddddd reviews one year ago. We picked La Ciba because
of them.
