Cozumel June? Reefs Open?

Folks: those who are on island, is ii responsible to the population to come and visit in Mid June? Will the island be open? Are the reefs open to diving or will they be in June?.... I vacation several times a year and very anxious to dive the reefs after this long break and see the turn around and the wildlife that has returned, before they scared away... etc....
Any thoughts on the best time to visit in the coming months?
How are the reefs and wildlife?

We are landlocked on the island, too. When the island will open is anybody’s guess. There’s no super secret local knowledge that gives the answers; there is only hope.

Yes, I’m on the island.
No recreational boats of any type are going out. Mexico closed her ports. The car and people ferries are running extremely reduced schedules, the military boats are about, and some commercial fishing boats are going out.
Guidos is to go or delivery only, as are all restaurants that remain open at all. All onsite dining is prohibited.

All: how are the covid rules now, we are going to be there on the 24th to Nov. 1st... do yo have to wear mask on the boats? can you walk down the street wihtout a mask in the heat? etc. etc.. thoughts?
