Good morning everyone.
The Food Bank ministry (set up by the Cozumel English Church) will be handing out food baskets on December the 23rd at 6:30 pm. The need was seen in the schools where kids would come in without lunch or any money for lunch. When these children were asked where their lunches were they replied they did not have any.
The Church is now providing food baskets to twenty six needy families each month. Silvia and I are now in charge of the program and thought about asking this great group for help. If you would like to donate each basket contains:
1 toothpaste
1 soap bar
1 tomato sauce
1 pasta
1 laundry soap
1 Clorox
1 bag of powdered milk
2 bags of beans
1 bag of rice
2 cans of tuna
1 bag of cereal
Fresh fruit and veggies must be bought on the 23rd since we have no refrigeration in the church.
We also have a tab on our Facebook page (Los Alcatraces Cozumel) for cash donations to the food pantry.

Thanks,

Tomorrow night (6:30 pm 23DEC15) is the night we will feed the 26 families and give them their food baskets. Everyone from this group are invited to attend and participate. Santa will take time out of his busy schedule to drop by and hand out gifts too.
