There have been some comments assuming people can currently claim on their Travel Insurance for non-medical costs related to COVID-19 (lost deposits, esp. on LOBs, etc).

As soon as COVID-19 was declared a pandemic (or even a country specific epidemic) my insurance won't cover me for non medical costs. (as an aside point they would cover me for medical costs).

Does your insurance cover you at this point in time? (for non medical costs)

If there's other relevant insurance Q's SB'ers want added I can add them.

Mine is a big no

A smart one will rewrite its policy to suit the situation.
It happened after the hostages incidence in Manila several yrs ago.

I have Dive Assure. Dive Assure covers it. Though, I broke habit and waited a lot longer than usual and bought a few days too late (out of the norm for me) after the announced cut off date you would have had to purchase by to qualify.

Fancy contract words by New York lawyers. Pure trickery and smoke.

Right now it’s FOX.

If Biden wins it’ll be a fight between MSNBC and CNN.
