The couple wanted to draw attention to finning, a practice where fins are cut off for use in shark fin soup, considered a delicacy in Japan and elsewhere in Asia.

Environmentalists say the practice is severely depleting shark populations around the world.

I know this isnt quite the unique angle Otter was going for on this wedding (i think it is a unique setting), but just like the guy who dove deep on a mares abyss reg to "improve safety standards" rather than a PR stunt, how is this really showing the plight of the sharks getting finned?
