My guess is the countdown (as well as all the other disabled functions) will come back once all of the server switching computer thingiemabob changing is done. Sadly this seems to be taking longer than originally anticipated but when you're dealing with computers that seems to be a given.

The countdown timer was written for an earlier version of vBulletin and did not do well after one of our upgrades. Hopefully, we will find a replacement for it that will work with our current version.
O.K. How about allowing us to delete trips done months ago from the countdown timer?
