I once stayed for two weeks at a cabin suspended over a cliff 40 feet above the water in Dominica. No air conditioner, no fan, no screens. It was glorious. My little kitchenette looked out over miles of open sea. Nothing like scrambling eggs while a couple of whales splashed a mile offshore. At night giant fireflies illuminated my bedroom with a blue glow. During the hot days I was out in the water or exploring the rainforest.
