Costa Rica is double dipping. The one time environmental leader, enjoys a $1.92-billion-a-year tourism industry and is the most visited nation in the Central American region. But government officials want to kill the goose laying this golden egg. The latest evidence of this short sighted greed is the refusal to protect sharks at the international CITES gathering. If anybody has any doubt, watch "Sharkwater". Had a long talk with Rob recently. Apparently, Costa Rica has not stopped since then.

By the way, they are coming out with Sharkwater: Extinction in the next few months. Please tune in!!

I read that and am thoroughly disgusted with Costa Rica. We are boycotting any place that doesn't ban shark finning from future dive trips! :(
