I am going to Tx in Nov and looking to spend about 3 days near the beach. I have googled and it seems there aren't many places on the beach. I have inquired about a place I found and I am waiting on an email response back. In the meantime....are there any suggestions from you guys???? Maybe some "best kept secrets" that don't show on google.
It doesn't have to be right in corpus christi but a little south or north would be fine. I am only looking to spend around $120 a night but really no more than $150.
Also, I searched the forums and found that diving in Tx isn't the best unless you are spear hunting or going out to oil rigs.
Any suggestions about diving would be fine too.
PS. I am open to staying in South Padre Island. I have been there once before but my travel plans include me staying in San An, Tx for a few days after my 3 day stay on the beach. So the closer to San An the better.
