Looks like my wife wants to have a holiday in March.

Thought about going to Marsa Alam, I will probably be diving with these guys: Coraya Divers.

If anyone has been there already:
  1. My wife does not dive, will she be bored if we stay for one week ?
  2. I read that Elphinstone reed is one must do for the area, is it worth doing the two hour trip to visit it ?
  3. Are the dives hard for a beginner ?
  4. I think I will bring my drysuit: I read it can be cold, with my wing, I am probably gonna hit the weight limit easily
  5. Anything else I should know ?

3. Plenty of easy diving for beginners in the area, but if you're talking about Elphinstone, it can be a very advanced dive depending on conditions. The serious operators in the area will demand AOW and 30+ logged dives to take you there. When there're no current it is easy, but normally less exciting. It might not be far out but should be treated as an advanced off shore dive. Use reputable operator to ensure you get boat drivers that know what they're doing.
