The only trip offering 3 full days of diving in the remote wilderness
of the Coral Sea on 2 separate reef systems.
4 Night / 3 Full Day Expeditions ( over 5 days ) to both
Flora Reef and the famous Holmes Reef - both lying some 90Nm outside the
Great Barrier Reef
Due to it's isolation the reefs have incredible visability and abundant large pelagic fish. Divers have observed the reef and oceanic sharks here at shark feeds for over 20 years, and it is still a spectacular sight.
Diving this area is a good all year round. Visability reaches 100 metres plus and is rarely less than 50 metres. Very little of these reefs have ever been dived, surrounded by depths of 1000 metres, rising vertically to the surface, offering magnificent wall and drift diving opportunities.
Large pelagics, gorgonian fans, sharks and several species of tropical fish common to the Coral Sea, are not found on the Great Barrier Reef, making these reefs a truly unique dive location.
Being such large reefs, sand cays and large sheltered areas have formed over the centuries, with good anchorages and dive sites manageable for novice divers. The beauty of these Coral Sea Reefs is their diversity in the dive sites and marine life, offering extremely good dive conditions and excellent visibility, leaving room for us to explore new realms of diving whilst keeping it adventurous, yet safe.
