Hi everyone!
I'm planning a month trip to Mexico, mainly Yucatan and nearby regions.,
I was trying to find the situation of the coral reefs in that broad area.
Can anyone either:
a) update directly with first hand info and photos
b) provide resources / projects open to the public on coral reef health?
Also any "must" dive in that vast region is appreciated.
I'm fit, rescue diver, 100 dives, about to do a 3 month internship to become divemaster. I don't cave dive, I'm not tech, max depth 40m but I only go that deep if there's a wreck or a reason.
