Anyone checked out the Imax/Large Screen Format movie Coral Reef Adventure? I went and checked it out a couple of weeks ago and it just made me want to dive more. I particularly loved the drift dive portion of it. I have never done a drift dive and it was simply amazing how darn fast they were moving.

Yep! It was pretty good. I thought it was interesting to see him in the chamber.

The drift diving they were doing WAS pretty darned fast. I have done drift diving myself, but the current was never THAT bad.

astrl :)

any suggestions on how i can get hold of that film? i reside in south east asia - philippine islands

thanks!

The movie had great sites i would love to dive. I just think it was kind of crazy how they were talking about the the reefs being in bad shape but when they were filming there were alot of coral touching and stuff.

The Ghosts of the Abyss is playing at the Imax here right now. I did go see that and it was really good too. (Its about a crew going down to the Titanic in little submersibles, if anyone didn't know). The 3-D and large screen is almost like being there.
