Duh - they're in the water. On land they'd fall apart.

hmmm, how fast did you jump to that conclusion? Think they may have put some more thought to it than the time it took you to respond to the original post and that the water maybe isn't the key?

Read the journal first, it's not a fly by night publication.
 
OK. Equilbrium, balance and motor skills on dry land are a very different skill set than in the water.

I have never had a problem with neutral bouyancy on land :wink:

So which one was doing the "coconut" impersonation - the "walnut" sized octopus, or the "apple" sized one? :rolleyes:
