What exactly is needed besides another SL961 strobe? I have an extra flash link that I ordered but I don't see how I can fit two identical flash links on to the camera. Is there a special Flash Link that couples in to two fiber optic cables?

The lens adapter ring has space for two fiber optic cables. Look at yours and you'll see that it's made to take one from either side. Only other thing you'll need to do is remove the macro lens holder if you have that.
