Hello fellow dive buddies,
Last month I published a self financed multi-platform digital magazine. The new magazine is called "Adventure Diving Magazine" and is accessible to tablet or smartphone (on both Apple iOS (iPad/iPhone) and Android tablets).
I am therefore looking for writers to contribute to this magazine for future issues.
As well as the usual of giving you a bio and picture to go along with your article, I can also include a link to your newsletter (if you have one) or a link to a blog/website you would like to potentially drive thousands of readers to. The bio and link will be displayed at the bottom of your article.
What will you be writing about?
The article could be written on one of your favorite underwater adventures from your recent trips or past dives such as wreck diving, night dive, deep dive or even a special location. I can also include pictures and video within the magazine. Technical dive articles are also welcome. As long as it provides interested reading and is well written, Ill happily publish it.
It doesnt have to be Shakespearean standard - as long as its honest, passionate and something that people will enjoy reading.
How often will you need to write?
There is no commitment to write regularly, but there is plenty of room for regular contributors (providing what you write is decent).
We want to collaborate with talented writers regardless of whether you want to contribute regular articles or simply offer one-off guest pieces.
Note that this magazine will be a monthly publication, so there will be a need for regular content. Meaning you can contribute now and in the future when you have something to share about your recent dive trips.
If you are a blogger, videographer, professional journalist or writer, someone looking to break into the industry and raise your profile, or you just enjoy writing about your diving trips, Adventure Diving Magazine can help you out.
Why am I posting this here?
I've been diving for a number of years and always been on the sidelines. Now I want to give back to the diving community and help promote marine conservation and I know that this is a scuba diving community that attracts intelligent, like minded people, some of whom enjoy writing.
If youre interested in writing for us, give me a shout at ipublishing@sbmail.org.uk
