I am wondering what are good written sources for dive instruction:

I am OW and should be doing my AOW on one of my trips this year. Beyond that rescue diver and maybe all the way to divemaster.

I would like to have refrence resources for my OW skills that I learned and Im sure some forgotten and also read up on what I will learn in my AOW class, and the classes after that if possible.

Should I just get the PADI OW, AOW, Recue, etc manuals?

Is there a better plan?

Get the encyclopedia of diving. Your lds should carry it, if not you can find it online. It is a great refence, especially if you go on to do DM.

Agreed, get the Encyclopedia of Diving. It is part of the PADI DM curriculum should you decide to pursue that path.

Is it the Encyclopedia of recreational diving by PADI?

Does anyone know when it was last updated?(what is the current edition print date?)

thanks so much
